The Brandman Centers for Senior Care (BCSC), a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE), provides high-quality, comprehensive healthcare services. We are a program of Los Angeles Jewish Health, renowned for providing quality care to vulnerable seniors.

The responsibilities of the Center Director include, but are not limited to: 

Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of BCSC leadership, has full responsibility for all disciplines and services provided through the BCSC Center, including management and budgeting responsibilities related to the direct operation of the Center.
  • Provides leadership to all aspects of the program, including social services, rehabilitation services, transportation services, clinic, dietary services, home care, recreation and activities, and medical records.
  • Facilitates all aspects of the Interdisciplinary Team and Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, including assessment, care planning, care management, and utilization of services.
  • Ensures that all staff are appropriately trained and perform their duties and responsibilities within the PACE Organization.
  • In coordination with the Director of Quality and Compliance and the Director of Marketing, oversees all activities related to participant enrollment and disenrollment.
  • Participates in the Quality Improvement Program to ensure that services are provided in a manner that supports participant rights, demonstrates quality and safe care, and focuses on customer service and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and licensing standards.
  • Understands the significance of community involvement and participates in activities that link BCSC to its community.

Experience and Skills:
Degree and diplomas: Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Nursing, or a related healthcare field. Master’s Degree preferred.
Experience: Five years of healthcare experience, including at least three years of supervisory experience, preferably in a geriatric care setting. Prior experience working in a PACE Organization is preferred. A minimum of one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population is required. Bilingual Spanish is preferred.
Skills/Aptitudes: Demonstrated skills in leadership and decision-making. Demonstrated skills in effective oral and written communication.
